Is This It?

There was nothing she felt as she stood outside the church apart from her fingers slowly becoming stone. She saw her chance and ran.She never stopped, not even for the wretched cries from her mother and the mournful howls of her dog,Rover. She didn't even look back at her shocked bridesmaids in pink, their mouths barely recognisable under heavy make-up.She carried on until she got past her house. She took off her wedding veil and shoes leaving her a penniless, shoeless runaway bride in a large, silk dress. She ducked into a shop, and called for a taxi to her house.Changing her clothes and packing faster than ever before she bought a train ticket.

He looked positively suspicous,a scruffy young man with the shadows of an older man on his face.He had been hanging around Tesco's for at least a month despite stern warnings from the manager which he dismissed with a casual shake of his head. The truth was he had nowhere else to go,not back home where his parents although sympathetic would set about matchmaking for him and he didnt think he could bear that.Endless giggly women who worked in the towns near his parents and were "friends of the family".
